Services SETA Mandatory Grant Applications 2024-2025

Employers falling under the categories of Services SETA Levy Paying Employers (LPEs) and Non-Levy Paying Employers (NLPE) are required to individually submit Mandatory Grant applications. The rationale behind this is that compliant and approved Mandatory Grants result in a 20% refund of the employer’s skills development levy contribution for the respective financial year in which the application is lodged.

The submission window for these applications is open from November 15, 2023, until the regulated deadline date of April 30, 2024. The applicable documents for submission include the Annual Training Report (ATR) covering both PIVOTAL ATR and Non-PIVOTAL ATR, as well as the Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) encompassing both PIVOTAL WSP and Non-PIVOTAL WSP.

To adhere to this requirement, Mandatory Grants applications must be made through the Services SETA Learning Management Information System (LMIS).
