The first South African four-day work week trial took place over a period of six months from
March to August this year. The trial was conducted by 4 Day Week Global – an international
non-profit organisation that aims to promote a working environment that is focused on
retaining productivity while reducing the focus on time. This is the first trial of its kind in a
country that is designated as part of the developing world.
